On the 3rd of December 2021, the Cyber Security Theme hosted an online PhD Student Conference. This annual event allows students to discuss and get feedback on their research. Students submitted a poster prior to the event, with a 20-minute presentation on the day.
We had some excellent submissions, and three of the students were awarded prizes for their posters (congratulations to Ipshita Roy Chowdhury, Mona Kherees and Juraj Sitka). The presentations demonstrated the range of research undertaken by Scotland’s cybersecurity students, and the students did a great job of presenting it to all the attendees. Attendees in Scotland were also lucky enough to receive an UberEats voucher for lunch. We hope to see even more attendees at the next event, and to have it in-person.
